Bold In Christ

Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year! The theme for the new school year is “Bold in Christ” from 2 Timothy 1:7, “For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.” We celebrate God’s gift of salvation through His Son, Jesus, and take confidence that He has also given us both power and love to be BOLD for His kingdom and an example to others.

On Tuesday morning, Aug. 14, we will greet all our new Crusaders – freshmen and transfer students – and enjoy a day of getting acquainted with each other and with LHSN, eating ice cream, and gearing up for a fun, successful school year. For lunch, students should either bring lunch from home, purchase food with cash, or purchase a meal card. Please have your student here by 7:45 and pick him/her up at 2:00 (unless staying for sports).

Wednesday, Aug. 15, is the official start of the year, so it’s “all hands on deck!” Returning students and teachers will be happy to see each other again for a fresh start on learning and growing. Wednesday is a normal school day, 7:55-3:00, with all 8 blocks classes.

We look forward to seeing each of the Crusaders, new and returning, back on campus this coming week!
